After a series of films including THE LADY LIES (1929), HOLE IN THE WALL (1929) and MANSLAUGHTER (1930) Claudette Colbert became synonymous with "good movies." But it wasn't until she played Ellie Andrews in the classic IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT (1934) paired with Clark Gable that she became a household name. She won the Oscar that year and was nominated again the following year for PRIVATE WORLDS (1935). In the film HONOR AMONG LOVERS (1931) she wore this stunning yellow diamond ring that we are proud to add to our Collection.
