Ginger Rogers was one of our most versatile stars during the
1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. Films like “Kitty
Foyle” showed off her dramatic talents and won her the
Best Actress Oscar in 1940. Of course, her musical accomplishments
are legendary, pairing with Fred Astaire in many of Hollywood’s
best musicals like “Carefree” and “Follow
the Fleet”. Ms. Rogers was no slouch in the jewelry department

out her film career in 1933 when she was given star billing

she and Fred Astaire decided to hitch up in FLYING DOWN TO RIO.
After winning the Oscar for Best Actress for KITTY FOYLE in

many publicity photos she wore these stately diamond earrings.
