More about these earrings...

Dolores Masi was a little girl when Marilyn Monroe came to stay at her house. When Marilyn and Joe needed to get away from the Hollywood scene they would hide out at the Masi house. Dolores' dad was a very old friend of Joe's and the couple welcomed the peace and quiet. The 8 year old Dolores and Marilyn became like younger sister/older sister and like all older sisters Marilyn handed down many treasures to her younger "sibling." Among the many keepsakes were these earrings that Marilyn wore in a rather famous photo. These beautiful "Best Friends" earrings are from this unique collection, which represents the softer side of Marilyn, but nonetheless are very glamorous and beautiful.
